Cody Bellinger hits a home run* for the second out of the inning. : sports

Basically you cannot pass a runner on base in front of you. If you do, you’re out. It always happens a few times a year, usually on a play like this when base runners are confused whether ball is caught for an out, but I don’t personally recall any such occurrence on a home run ball though.

It unfortunately counts as a single, not a home run for Bellinger, since he only made it past the first base.
