Chattogram-Khagrachhari regional highway, which was blocked since Friday after the clash between police and Hefazat activist, was opened to traffic after 72 hours.

Hathazari upazila administration, in cooperation with the Roads and Highways Department, removed a wall on the highway built by madrasa students soon after the clash.

“Now the situation has returned to normalcy with vehicles plying in full swing,” he added.
