Bangladesh nominated FAO member from Asia region

Bangladesh has been nominated as the member of Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) from the Asia region for three years from 2022.

The country has also been chosen as a member of the credential committee of FAO, according to a press release issued by the agricultural ministry yesterday.

The decisions were taken during the 42nd ongoing conference of FAO. The conference, being held virtually this year due to Covid-19 pandemic, began on June 14 and ended yesterday.
