Playoff hockey might be among the most hectic and unpredictable postseasons in major sports, and overtime hockey even crazier yet.
But don’t tell that to NBC Sports analyst and former NHL center Dominic Moore.
In a video shared by The Athletic’s Sean Shapiro, Moore is shown correctly predicting exactly who scores the overtime winner in three playoff games that went past regulation. First, he predicts that Wild center Joel Eriksson Ek will end Game 1 against the Golden Knights in overtime. Then, he calls Josh Bailey scoring the game-winner against the Penguins in double-overtime. And in the second overtime game of Monday, he said Kyle Connor would end the Oilers’ comeback hopes with a goal in triple overtime to deliver the sweep for Winnipeg.
All three guesses came to fruition.

Maybe the next time Moore makes a guess on an overtime winner, bettors hoping to make that correct wager will be listening out for the former Harvard talent’s pick.
